One of our claims handlers will listen to you and take the details of your accident. Where the claims handler feels you would benefit from legal advice and your claim warants further investigation, you will receive an offer to put you in touch with a specialist solicitor. Ashley Ainsworth will not charge you anything for doing this. You will not be asked to take out any loan, sign anything or enter into any contract. We do not give you legal advice. That is the job of specialist solicitors.

Ashley Ainsworth's panel of solicitors contribute to the cost of marketing and the Helpline call centre. They will not charge you for any of those costs. They should give you full advice regarding your claim, including how long it will take, whether you might have to contribute anything at all if you win, which in most cases is nothing and an estimatation as to how much compensation you may receive if your claim is successful. You may have legal expense insurance to protect you, but if you don't, many cases are successfully run under a no win no fee agreement, where you pay nothing if you lose, and in most cases nothing if you win. Your solicitor will explain all of this clearly to you before your claim is started.
Seek Advice quickly after your accident
It is important that you seek advice as quickly as possible after an accident. Although you usually have 3 years (or longer for those under 18) from the accident date until your claim is time-barred, it is best to get the evidence to support your case while the memories are fresh, and get any legal and rehabilitation help when you need it most.
